WHAT IS E-TAILING?

  • is the selling of goods and services on the Internet Short of "Electronic Retailing" and used in Internet discussions as early as 1995.

  • is the buying and selling of goods and services on the internet, especially the World Wide Web.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF C2C

ADVANTAGES:
  • Paypal set up directly for this reason
  • Broader market
  • Eliminates intermediary
  • Constantly changing and updating
  • Always there so that consumers can use it whenever they want.

DISADVANTAGES:

  • No quality control
  • No payment guarantee
  • Hard to pay for using cheques, ATM, cards, etc. but future this is likely to change.

WHAT IS G2B?

  • Government to business
  • is the online none-commercial interaction between local and central government and the commercial business sector, rather than private individuals G2C.
  • example is: dti.gov.ph

  • Government to employee
  • is a....

WHAT IS B2G?

  • Business to government
  • (a variation of the term B2B or business to business) the concept that business and government agencies can use central websites to exchange information and do business with each more efficiently than they usual can of the web.

WHAT IS C2C?

  • Consumer to consumer
  • means it is between 2 corporations (many it is do this term, but us citizens and green card holders can do it as well if you they own their business) we can be used for full-time or contract positions.

WHAT IS B2C?

  • Business to consumers
  • meaning that the primary focus is toward consumers not other business, even though a B2C company may sell to resellers or other business as a small portion of their revenue. Retailers are typically B2C companies while manufactures and wholesalers are typically B2B companies.

WHAT IS B2B?

  • business to business
  • also known as e-biz, is the exchange o products, serviceson information between business rather than between business and consumers. Although early interest centered on the growth of retailing on the Internet (sometimes called e-tailling) forecasts as that B2B revenue will far exceed business to consumers (B2C) revenue (will far) in the near future.
